Quick answer
Use a recent photo of yourself and make small, inspectable changes such as removing a background distraction. AIPGEN can be used to request that edit, but review your face, body and surroundings before saving. A clearer picture is a useful goal; this guide does not promise more matches, and a generated version should not misrepresent how you currently look.
Choose a picture that already represents you well
Start with a photo you would be comfortable showing someone who is about to meet you. Your face should be recognizable, the image should be reasonably recent, and the setting should make sense for the impression you want to give. If the source is extremely dark, heavily compressed or taken from too far away, a new photo may be a better starting point than an ambitious reconstruction.
Pick one reason to edit. Perhaps a bright bin draws attention away from your face, or a crowded background makes the picture hard to read at a small size. Those are specific visual problems. “Make me look like the ideal date” is not a useful brief: it encourages changes you may not want and gives you no clear way to decide whether the result still represents you.
Which edits are worth considering?
A crop, a modest brightness adjustment or the removal of a small background distraction may be enough. Try conventional adjustments first when they address the issue. If you want a generated change, keep it narrow and inspect the whole image afterward. A request to remove one object can still affect an unrelated detail, so the review matters as much as the wording.
Be especially cautious with changes to facial features, body proportions, age or clothing that you would not normally wear. The question is not whether the result is attractive in isolation. It is whether it is a useful representation of you. Do not use an edited location to imply a trip, activity or accomplishment that never happened. A simple real setting can be more meaningful than a fabricated luxury backdrop.
Keep your current appearance recognizable.
Prefer a clear, real photograph over an invented personal story.
Avoid including another person who has not agreed to appear.

A focused AIPGEN prompt for background cleanup
Open a personal photo in the editing workflow available in your AIPGEN app. Identify one unwanted object by location and appearance. Then name the important details to preserve. The example below assumes a visible empty cup on a table behind the subject; change the description to match your actual picture.
Generate an edit and compare it with the original. If the cup disappears but your eyes or mouth look different, do not accept the result just because the cleanup worked. Return to the original with a smaller request or use a crop if that solves the problem. For additional examples, see the portrait prompt guide.
A prompt to try
Remove the empty paper cup on the table behind my right shoulder. Fill that small area with the existing table surface. Keep my face, hair, skin texture, body proportions, clothing and pose unchanged. Preserve the rest of the scene.
If the background needs more than a small cleanup
A neutral background can be useful when the original scene is visually busy, but changing the whole setting increases the number of details to inspect. Choose a modest backdrop that fits the light in the source. A softly lit portrait will usually be easier to evaluate against a simple wall than against a dramatic nighttime city scene.
This is an example request, not a promise of exact preservation. If you want the profile to show a real activity or place, keep a genuine photo of that activity rather than rebuilding the scene. The background-editing checklist explains light, perspective and edge checks in more detail.
A prompt to try
Replace the busy background with a simple neutral wall that matches the existing soft daylight. Keep my face, hairstyle, clothing, pose and body proportions unchanged. Preserve natural edges around my hair and glasses.
Try one focused edit with AIPGEN
Start with your own photo and a specific change. Review the free-edit allowance and any paid offer in your installed app.
Free-edit allowances vary by platform. Check the current allowance, pricing and paid options in your app.
Review the result at the size people will actually see
Compare the image at normal phone size and in a closer view. At normal size, ask whether your face is easy to recognize and whether the crop feels balanced. In the closer view, compare your eyes, teeth, hairline, hands, glasses and any visible accessories with the original. An edit can look convincing until one familiar feature reveals that it has changed.
Inspect the photo inside the destination’s crop preview before posting it. A centered portrait can lose part of the head or shoulders in a tighter frame. Keep a little room around the subject when possible. Save the edited file separately so you can try a different crop without losing the original.
A useful final question is: would someone who knows me immediately recognize this as a current picture of me? If the answer is uncertain, prefer the original or make a smaller edit. The face-preservation guide offers a more detailed review checklist. No prompt removes the need to make that judgment yourself.
Keep privacy and consent in the photo-selection step
Before uploading, look for information you did not intend to share: a visible address, a workplace badge or another person in the background. A tighter crop may remove it without an AI edit. Choose a source you have permission to use and avoid submitting a sensitive image just to test a tool. Read the current service disclosures if data handling affects your choice.
AIPGEN’s privacy FAQ links to the relevant policy and store information. This guide does not claim that editing is entirely on-device or that uploads are never retained. It also does not claim that an edited photo will pass a dating service’s verification process. Use an appropriate original when a service asks for identity verification.
Plan the edit before using your allowance
AIPGEN’s Android listing specifies one free edit followed by subscription access. Its iPhone description advertises one complimentary edit, while its release history also mentions a daily free edit. Check the current allowance and any paid offer inside your app; the free-access FAQ explains the difference. Prepare a single useful request before generating.
For this task, success is a recognizable photo with a less distracting presentation. There is no evidence here that a particular editor, background or prompt will increase matches. Keep other profile photos consistent with your current appearance, and stop when the edit solves the small visual problem you identified. If you still dislike the picture, taking a new photograph can be a better next step than repeated transformations.
